We specialize in multiple areas of rehabilitation including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.
Whether provided for several days, weeks or months, our physician-directed rehabilitation services are designed to complement a hospital stay or, in many cases, be a substitute for hospitalization. Our dedicated nurses and therapists are trained to help each individual reach their highest potential and improve their quality of life.
We are proud of our highly rated rehabilitation program. In 2010, Ayers achieved a 94% satisfaction rating from patients based on professional skills, attitude and helpfulness, and achievement of goals.

The Ayers Rehabilitation Team
Our team of eight therapists work one-on-one with individuals to maximize their independence, safe
mobility and comfort of daily life.
It is our mission, as a team of professionals, to work with the individuals and doctors to promote the highest level of independence so the individual may return home. Ayers has partnered with Therapy Management Corporation to provide the best care possible for individuals needing therapy.
The Ayers Therapeutic Approach
At Ayers our goals of therapy are to improve an individual’s balance, increase overall range of motion, minimize risk of falls and injuries, decrease pain of affected areas, increase activity levels and safety and to promote a higher quality of life for the individual. We strive to improve functional endurance for performance of all daily living skills and provide education and self-management skills for all individuals.
Our highly skilled therapists show individuals how to perform joint protection techniques, therapeutic exercise and strengthening exercises. Ayers therapists tailor different plans to suit each individuals needs. They begin by evaluating the skeletal and musculoskeletal system, perform balance and gait assessments and modalities such as ultrasound, ice, moist heat and electrical stimulation.
Healthy Seniors Program
Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center has developed a program which caters directly to our senior individuals. Our Healthy Seniors program focuses on maximizing functional independence through an array of programs specific to each individuals needs.
